Configuring Existing Outlook Express account to access Softcom Mail Powered by Google:
* Launch Outlook Express
* Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts
* In the E-mail Accounts window, click on your existing Softcom mail account, and click on the "Properties" button

* Click the "Servers" tab. In the Servers tab, you should have the following settings:
Incoming mail (POP3) should be pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) should be smtp.gmail.com
Account name your full Email address (ie: johndoe@softcom.net instead of johndoe)
Password should be the password for that account

* Click on the "Advanced" tab
* Fill in the following information:
Check the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL) under Outgoing Mail (SMTP).
Enter 465 in the Outgoing mail (SMTP): field.
Under Outgoing Mail (SMTP), check the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL).
Under Incoming mail (POP3), check the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL). The port will change to 995.
Please note that the order of Outgoing and Incoming mail server fields varies by version. Make sure you enter the correct information in each field.

* Click on the "Servers" tab
* Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), make sure that the "My server requires authentication" box is checked

* Click "OK".
