Configuring Existing Outlook 2007 account to access Softcom Mail Powered by Google:
* Launch Outlook 2007
* Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings...
* In the E-mail Accounts window, click on your existing Softcom mail account, and click on the "Change" button

* In the next window, you need to change the following settings:
Incoming mail server should be pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) should be smtp.gmail.com
User Name should be your full Email address (ie: johndoe@softcom.net instead of johndoe)
Password should be the password for that account

* Click on the "More Setttings ..." button
* Click on the "Outging Server" tab
* Enable the checkbox in "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
* Make sure "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is the option selected

* Click on the "Advanced " tab
* Check the box next to "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" under Incoming Server (POP3).
* In the Outgoing server (SMTP) box, enter 587, and select TLS from the drop-down menu next to "Use the following type of encrypted connection:"

* Click "OK".
* Click "Test Account Settings..." After receiving 'Congratulations! All tests completed successfully', click "Close".
* Click "Next", and then click "Finish."
Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve Softcom Mail powered by Google messages.
