Nitro is truly versatile! Smart, willing, and athletic, this dog can do it all with flair, determination, and a smile on his face. From tracking, herding and obedience to agility, drafting, and demos for the public, he works for the cause whatever it is.

Nitro learns quickly and is a "thinking dog." He was HIT from Novice B at the 1992 Specialty and also earned a second TD there. He earned his TDX at the 1993 Specialty, was High Combined at the 1995 Specialty, and earned his NDD at the 1996 Specialty. Annual awards over the years include: Top Winner in Open A, Open B, Utility A, and Utility B. He has placed first for the breed in obedience on the Delaney system or First and Foremost system. He has also done some BOB winning along the way. Except the draft title, all of his titles were earned before he was 4 ½ years of age.

Nitro is a bright star in my life and is always eager to play and to do things with me. A natural retriever as a pup, he loves to play Frisbee and ball. He is good at agility work. He took to carting easily and made me proud by passing his draft test with little experience. Nitro recently became an official therapy dog by passing TDI test certification.

Thank you to Bobbie and Bill and their special dogs, Lacey and Jackson, for making this remarkable pal. And thank you, Nitro, not only "doing it all" but for being so loveable and so much fun in the process. Whatagas!
