                tip: Squares are the formation that infantry
                can use to defend themselves effectively
                against cavalry. However, forming a square
                must be done with extreme caution. If you
                wait too long to change into a square, the
                presence of enemy forces can cause your
                formation attempts to fail, resulting in
                disruption and rout! Also, be aware of the
                vulnerability of squares to artillery.

                tip: Pay attention to the location of your
                commanders and their superiors. If you do a
                good job of keeping your leaders in
                command, your forces will recover from
                disruption much faster.
