Blood
                tip: The shotgun is probably the best weapon
                to use in the early going. Unloading both
                barrels simultaneously will stop nearly
                anything. Even the more powerful gargoyles
                and phantasms will fall after a couple of
                double-barrel hits.

                tip: Just as the cultists will crouch to avoid
                gunfire, you should, too.

                tip: To kill rats and spiders, crouch and use
                your pitchfork.

                tip: Guns Akimbo, Reflecting Shots, and
                Invisibility power-ups generally mean there
                are large gatherings of beasties nearby.
