                tip: If the other team is kicking off, try to
                intercept their inevitable back-pass. The ball
                will always go back to one of a couple of
                spots, and you might as well be there to snap
                it up.

                tip: Use good defensive positioning to slow
                down a software-controlled offense.
                Sometimes a well-placed defender doesn't
                have to do a thing but be in the right spot at
                the right time and look threatening.

                tip: Use the practice mode to work on
                scoring directly from a corner kick. A good
                "touch" on the ball will force it to curve
                around and into the cage without assistance
                from any other player.
