*** Chapter 1 *** 1. Take the Ripped Petticoat from the cactus. 2. Go south two screens and get the Hunting Horn when the tornado moves away from the skeleton. 3. Go north three screens and go into the cave. 4. Get the Basket on the ground and examine it in your inventory. 5. Remove off the lid and rotate it to find a Corn Kernel. 6. Pick up the Clay Jars one at a time; the first three break, but the fourth stays in one piece. 7. Exit the cave. 8. Find where the water is dripping into the sand and place the Kernel into the. 9. Look at the gourd plant to the left of the cornstalk and the picture to the right of the cave. 10. Walk back to the left and take the Gourd Seed from the now-opened plant. 11. Go east one screen and open the small door under the RARE CURIOSITIES sign. 12. Use the Hunting Horn on Valanice to blow out the dust, then use the Horn on the right-hand Jackalope hole two times. 13. Take the Jackalope Fur from the cactus and the Glasses from the ground. 14. Open the Rare Curiosities door and use the Glasses on the Kangaroo Rat. 15. Trade the Gourd Seed for the Turquoise Bead with the Rat. 16. Go west two screens and south one screen. 17. Pick up the Stick and the Salt Crystals from the south edge of the pool. 18. Look at the statue's head to rotate it. 19. Examine the collar below the head and move all the blue beads to the third column. 20. Click on the statue's wristband to drain the pool. 21. Enter the pool, examine the offering tray and examine the empty section of the tray. 22. Use the Turquoise Bead on the tray and look at the tray again. 23. Take the right-hand Turquoise Piece and then leave the pool. 24. Walk east two screens. 25. Use the Ripped Petticoat on the Stick to create a Flag. 26. Go in the doorway and quickly use the Flag on the Scorpion. 27. Examine the statue and click on the symbol below it. 28. Take the blue bead and place it in one hand of the statue; put the yellow bead in the other hand. 29. Place the red bead behind and right of the statue. 30. Get the Turquoise Piece and exit the building. 31. Walk west two screens and one screen north. 32. Use the Stick on the cactus near the doorway and pick up the Prickly Pear. 33. Use the Turquoise Pieces on each other to make a Puzzle. 34. Examine the lock above the doorway twice. 35. Use the Puzzle on the lock and go through the door. 36. Valanice encounters a lizard that looks like it's about to chow down on her. *** Chapter 2 *** 1. Exit the room. 2. Take the Toy Rat and the Shield on the left-side of the throne. 3. Walk through the upper-right door into the kitchen. 4. Leave the mud pool and go back to the kitchen. 5. Quickly use the Toy Rat on the floor below the cook. 6. Take the Bowl from the lower shelf. 7. Use the machine to the right of the shelf to get Baked Beetles. 8. Exit the kitchen. 9. Go to the mud pits to listen to the trolls talking about sleeping aids. 10. Exit the pits and walk through the lower-left door into the workshop. 11. Go down the center stairs. 12. Take the Lantern. 13. Use the Bowl on the green water near the entrance to have a Bowl with Green Water. 14. Walk to the edge of the crevasse to feel an updraft. 15. Hurry to the lowest part of the edge and leap across to the center island. 16. Jump again to the upper-left and pick up the Wet Sulfur. 17. Jump back across and walk back upstairs. 18. Go in front of the fire and wait until it's burning bright, and then whip out the Lantern and use it on the flames to make a Lantern with Spark. 19. Toss the Wet Sulfur on the fire to knock out the troll. 20. Take the tongs from the tool rack and use them to pick up the brown box. 21. Dip the box in the bucket to get the Silver Spoon inside. 22. Place the tongs back on the rack and leave the workshop. 23. Walk through the lower-right door. 24. Attempt to walk across the bridge. 25. Examine the Shield and pluck out the Shield Spike. 26. Examine the cart in the upper-left corner. 27. Use the Shield and then the Shield Spike on the axle. 28. Ride the cart over the troll. 29. Go through the upper-right cave and go right again into the Dragon's lair. 30. Talk to the Dragon and use the Lantern on the Dragon to receive the Big Gem. 31. Go back to the workshop and talk to the jeweler troll. 32. Give him the Big Gem in exchange for the Hammer and Chisel. 33. Go back to the Dragon's lair. 34. Use the Hammer on his tail as it flops to the floor to receive a Dragon Scale. 35. Return to the main cave and use the Bowl on the troll. 36. Give the Baked Beetles, Dragon Scale and Silver Spoon to the troll. 37. Go to the large bench underneath the smoking picture stacking the small seat and footstool on top. 38. Pick up the Dragon Toad, after you fall into the main cave. 39. Go back to the bedroom to overhear an argument. 40. Return to the main cave and use the Dragon Toad on Mathilde in exchange for an Enchanted Rope. 41. Try to walk through the lower-right cave and Malicia blocks your way. 42. Quickly use the Toy Rat on her and go through the lower-right cave. 43. Use the Enchanted Rope on the elevator, and then use the elevator itself. *** Chapter 3 *** 1. Quickly use the Prickly Pear on the big lizard. 2. Go northwest one screen and then west one screen. 3. Speak to the stag until he tells you of Lord Feldspar. 4. Use the Mask on Valanice and go inside. 17. Leave the party through the curtained door in the back. 18. Go down the right-hand stairs and continue to the right-side-up door and then click on it twice to enter. 19. Look at the third mirror to the right of the door to enter an office. 20. Open the desk's right drawer to find a Magic Statuette. 21. Exit the office and walk down the stairs back to the entrance. 22. Return to the party. 23. Use the Mask on the Turtle to trade for the Rubber Chicken, then use the Wooden Nickel to trade for the Book. 27. Go way back to the Endless Desert door, which has the footprints outside it. 28. Proceed east two screens and use the Rare Curiosities door. 29. Give the Book to the Kangaroo Rat in exchange for the Crook. 30. Go back to the screen with the two statues (through the door) and examine the flowers in the upper-left corner of the screen. 31. Use the Clay Pot on the flowers to get Nectar in Pot. 32. Go back to the castle and walk to the Faux Shop. 33. Use the Crook on the cheese in the pond to get a Moon (not the buttock-revealing kind). *** Chapter 4 *** 1. When the Bogeyman appears during this chapter, walk off the screen and return, unless Roselia has the Black Cloak, in which case you don't need to run. 2. Click on the shovel blade quickly to get yanked out of the hole. 3. Talk to the grave digger three times to learn about lggy. 4. Go southeast and gaze upon the brat. 5. Go west and watch the second delinquent. 6. Go east and click on the elevator rope to enter the Jack-o'-Lantern. 7. Take the Back Bone from the floor south of the coffin, then the Foot-in-a-Bag inside the cotin. 8. Leave the Jack-o'-Lantern using the elevator. 9. Go west, watch the brat and enter Dr. Cadaver's house. 10. Trade the Back Bone with the Doc in exchange for the Weird Pet. 11. Exit the house, walk east and use the Weird Pet on the brats. 12. Use the Pet on the elevator to rescue the Grave Digger's Rat. 13. Go north to the graveyard and give the Rat to the grave digger. 14. Go southeast and use the Hammer on the casket to save the cat. 15. Go north and get the Shovel. 16. Walk west one screen and south one screen. 17. Stand in the lower-left corner of the screen and use the Horn. 18. Enter the hole and look at the lock. 19. Click on the skull, the bat and the spider. 20. Use the Dragon Toad on the king, then quickly use the Hammer on his armband. 21. Get the Black Cloak and use it on Rosella. 22. Go north and enter the house. 23. Talk to the Doc and take the Defoliant. 24. Exit the house and walk east to scare the brats. 25. Go south to the garden. 26. Quickly use the Defoliant on the green monster. 27. Use the Foot-in-a-Bag on the Venus's-flytraps. 28. Take the Fragrant Flower below them while they're thrashing around. 29. Proceed quickly past Malicia's house to talk to the King. 30. Go north past Malicia's house. 31. Click on the green vine covering the hole under Malicia's house. 32. Use the Shovel on the hole and go inside. 33. Go back down under the floor as fast as you can. 34. Use the Defoliant on the dog when he sticks its nose in the knothole. 35. Enter the room and examine the third chest of drawers until you find the Mysterious Device. 36. Click on the pile of clothes to put them on the drawer. 37. Take the Woolen Stocking. 38. Enter the town through the small door and return to the party in the Town Hall. 46. Go through the curtained door. 47. Walk right down the stairs and continue to the door. 48. Click on it twice to enter. 49. Examine the plaque at the base of the statue and use the Woolen Stocking to clean it. 50. Look at the plaque again. 51. Examine the grapes on the pillar on the right side of the room. 52. Use the Hammer on them to get the Golden Grape. 53. Use the Grape on the statue to partially open the entrance. 54. Go to the left side of the room. 55. Use the Magic Wand on the Troll King as Scarab. 56. Place the Magic Wand back into inventory and go through the entrance. 57. Go northwest. *** Chapter 5 *** 1. Use the Rubber Chicken on the right-hand tree, then use the Moon on the Chicken. 2. Get the Feather from the tree branch. 3. Go east and use the Magic Statuette to trade for the Were-beast Salve. 4. Leave town and go east three screens. 5. Use the Feather on the snoring rock. 6. Go west two screens and cross the stream. 7. Go south one screen and east two screens. 8. Use the Nectar in Pot on the statue. 9. Use the Jackalope Fur on the Were-beast Salve to make a Were-beast Salve with Fur. 10. Walk west and use the Salve on Valanice. 11. Walk west. 12. Creep past the flytraps and exit north out of the garden. 13. Go south one screen and back north. 14. Use the rope to enter the Jack-o'-Lantern. 15. Get the Femur Bone from the mummy and use the rope to leave. 16. Go west two screens and then north. 17. Use the Bone on the dog. 18. Speak to him until you get the Horseman's Medal. 19. Go south and give the Medal to the crying woman. 20. Continue east two screens and take the Lit Firecracker. 21. Go west two screens and use the Firecracker on the door lock. 22. Enter the crypt and use the dog statue. 23. Peek inside the casket to find the Horseman's Head. 24. Exit the crypt. 25. Stand on the path and when the horseman appears, use the Head on him. 26. Go east two screens and climb to the top of the mountain. 27. Click on the strange tree to climb out on the branch. 28. Examine the grapes to get Ambrosia. 29. Climb back down the mountain and go west. 30. Use the southeast rainbow to warp to the woods. 31. Go northeast across the bridge. 32. Use the Ambrosia on the statue's cornucopia and take the Pomegranate. 33. Go across the bridge and west to the tree. 34. To remove Ceres' curse, use the Pomegranate on the bleeding tree. 35. Use the Fife on Valanice to return to Etheria. 36. Go east and north. 37. Pick the harp strings in the following order (1 being the far left string, 6 the far right string): 1, 5, 6, 4. 38. Click on the globe to warp to the Fates. 39. Talk to the Fates twice. 40. Go south and west. 41. Use the southwest rainbow. 42. Walk north through the gate and west to the house. 43. Go inside and talk to the doctor about insomnia. 44. Use the coffin to sleep, then the Fife to return to Etheria. 45. Go east and north. 46. Use the harp to warp to the Fates and talk to them. 47. Walk south and west. 48. Use the southeast rainbow. 49. Walk west and talk to Ceres. 50. Use the Fife. 51. Use the southwest rainbow and walk east to Malicia's house. 52. Go behind the house. 53. Should the dog be barking, go west, then return. 54. When the dog is quiet, climb into the hole. 55. Climb under the floorboard and try to exit. 56. After Malicia leaves, reenter the room. 57. Examine the lamp on the right side of the room to get the Crystal Shaft. 58. Leave through the floorboard and go back to the front of the house. 59. Use the Fife and use the northwest rainbow. 60. Go north two screens, east and into the building. 61. Use the Crystal Shaft on the statue. 62. Exit the building and use the Fife. 63. Go east and north and consult the Fates again. 64. Go south and east and climb the mountain. 65. Use the Dream Catcher on the cave entrance, then quickly use it on the nightmare when it appears. 66. Go into the cave and talk to the Weaver of Dreams. 67. Use the Dream Catcher on him for the Tapestry of Dreams. 68. Use the Tapestry on Valanice. 69. Use the Dream Catcher on the black nightmare and walk south. 70. Go into the building and use the Crystal Shaft to free Maab and get the Magic Bridle. 71.
