  • Played college football at Shasta Junior College.
  • Redshirted his freshman year, his sophmore year he made all league in defense.
  • Played semi-pro ball with the Sacramento Bulldogs.
  • Competed in the Olympic Wrestling Trials in 1988.
  • Joined the military, only to be kicked out a week before graduation because he never told anyone about his neck injury.
  • Worked as a bouncer in Reno, Nevada.
  • Trained with Buzz Sawyer in Sacramento.
  • Moved to Mooresville, North Carolina. Trained with Gene Anderson and Nelson Royal there.
  • Was invited to try out for the San Diego Chargers.
  • Had wrestled with Dean Malenko.
  • Asami Saranocki got Shamrock started in Pancrase.
  • February 1997, signed with the WWF.
  • Suffered from a bleeding lung infection in an FWM cage match, September 28, 1997 in Kawaski, Japan.
  • September 13, 1999 -- He was injured by Mr. Hughes (Sept. 13) at a house show in Anaheim, California. He was forced to skip the PPV match against Jericho. I was really looking forward to that. He slipped a disk in the cervical choard.
  • February 5, 2000 -- Had altercation with Mark Hill in CA. He knocked out Mark after Mark headbutted Shamrock.
