1. The Electric Field Tensor

The analog of the Maxwell tensor, , in this theory is

where the are the components of the electric field and the are the components of the velocity of the electric field. Written out in full these are

where . These components are analogous to the components

where the are the components of the electric field three-vector, the are the components of the magnetic field three-vector, and the are the components of the gravitational field four-vector. The component , is thought to be the scalar nuclear field.

2. The Force Law

We can use the components of the electric field tensor, , of Eq. (2) combined with the components of the current four-vector, , to form the force law,

where . The terms on the left-hand side of Eqs. (4) are the relativistic analog of the Newtonian force law, , so the force four-vector, , is

where the terms include the time rate of change of the momentum and angular momentum. The terms on the right-hand side of Eqs. (4) are the relativistic analogs of the Lorentz force on a charged particle moving with velocity in an electric field which is moving with velocity .
