![]() by W.G. Bliss January 1977 (Originally rejected by Ancient Astronauts Magazine. Their loss, our gain--Editor) Besides the usual relics of the past, there is a vast store of ancient information. It is everywhere in the substance of the planet. All of the rock. It is a good guess that many people have noticed it over the ages, but the only recent known serious research was by the late Richard S. Shaver. He found the basic characteristics of rock images and made some interesting interpretations and authored the book THE SECRET WORLD. For practical purposes, there is an almost unlimited supply of rock images. Many contain a great deal of scientific and technical information. The images themselves show a high level of technology. They photo-reverse into different images and it is common for more than one images to be in the same area. A single small rock can contain thousands of images. A rock can be broken anywhere for more different images. The images have well defined formats and a wide range of subject matters. Some things in them look uncannily contemporary. Since most all rock is very old, it is damaged. Distorted-everything is at least a little plastic. Chemical actions, and molecular diffusion and leaching, with all of that, one would expect that rocks with discernible images are very scarce, but many are in excellent condition. All of the metallic rocks (especially pyrites and galena) and glassy rocks have excellent images. Rocks survive in good condition in sand banks and cold latitudes. some of the most common images are people wearing coverall suits and helmets and masks. For traipsing around on another planet, that would be a wise precaution. There could be hazards from simple allergies to something fatal. Similar protective equipment is currently used for working with hazardous chemicals, and some diving equipment is similar. there is also a marked resemblance to modern day UFO occupant photos. Most all of those have baggy loose fitting suits and evidently are made to be worn partially inflated. That is a good design for suits for a variety of physiques, and as emergency equipment, they would be easy to don in a hurry. Are these extremely old images of the most ancient astronauts? |
