Dale
Bishop, M.D.
Clinical
Faculty, Medical Director, SJHG
I was born and raised in Pasadena, California.
I attended USC as an undergraduate and UCI for medical school. I started
residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in 1984 and stayed on as a family
practice faculty member from 1987 to 1991. From 1991 to 1995, I was the
Associate Director of the Family Practice program in Modesto, before returning
to SJGH.
I am proud of our faculty and our program.
I also continue to be impressed with our excellent residents. My goal is
to provide the best opportunities for hands-on patient care with excellent
teaching and back-up.
My special interests in Family Practice
include practice management, infectious disease, and sports medicine. Outside
interests include (but not limited t ) farming walnuts, car restoration,
camping, hiking, fishing, and surfing.
