Establishing Trusts between Domains
Trusts are established between domains in order to share resources across Domains. A Trust Relationship must be established by both Domains. In the Diagram below Domain A trusts Domain B This is know as a One Way Trust. Domain A is the Trusting Domain and Domain B is the trusted Domain. These terms are needed in order to setup a trust correctly.

In the user manager for domains click on policies, and open Trust Relationships.
In the Trust Relationship dialog box there are two parts the add trusted domains and the add trusting domains areas. The trusted domain adds the trusting domain first in this example Domain A and then sets up the password entered twice to confirm. Then the trusting domain (Domain A) in this case, clicks on the add trusted domain and adds the name of the trusted domain in the example above Domain B and gives the password which was setup by Domain B. Your job is to get everyone in your Domain a chance to establish a trust with another domain in the class. Remember Trust Relationships are Non-Transitory . That means just because A trust B and B trusts C does not carry through that A trusts C. That relationship must be established for that to happen, it does not happen by default..
