VENDORS WELCOME

to the

Arts in Nature Fest/Spring Flute Festival

Dates: April 26 & 27, 2008
Place: Nature Area, Georgetown, California

Vendor's Hours: 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Must be set up by: 10:00 AM

Fee
The fee is $15.00 prepaid and 5% of of any net profits over $300.00.   There will be no badgering of vendors for money.   Only the vendor knows what his net profit is.   We expect only honorable vendors and the honor system will be used.   Vendors may make out checks to Marion (Doc) Cole who is the NoNahme Clan representative.   Checks may be handed to Marion Cole, Mignon Geli, Susan Whittington, or Lew Price.

If any dollars remain after the expenses for the event have been met, they will go to funding next year's festival and the music program for the Georgetown School District.

Spaces
Spaces will be allocated on first-come-first-served basis.   Food booths must allowed spaces closest to the amphitheater because that is where there are electrical outlets for them to use (they must bring their own extension cords).

Set-Up and Take-Down Times
This year there will be more people (especially children) at the Nature Area.   Consequently, vendors must be set up by 8:00 AM and may not begin taking down until 6:00 PM each day.   This allows two hours for setting up and 2:00 hours for taking down.   The set-up time can be extended if the vendor desires to set up on Friday night.   There will be people on hand both Friday night and Saturday night to act as security for the area.

Applying
To apply, send the information required on the application and photos of your booth and your wares.   If you were a vendor at the April 2007 Spring Flute Festival, you need not send photos and you will be accepted if you apply in time and we still have enough space for your booth.

Food and food booths, especially, must conform to County and State Laws.   Alcoholic beverages will not be permitted.   Applications for other booths are almost certain to be accepted if (1) the wares are individually created or grown by the seller; (2) related to nature, Native American culture, or to flutes indigenous to other parts of the world; and (3) are tastefully displayed.   If booth space is exceeded, acceptance will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.   Please send in applications in time for acceptance to be sent and received.

Sound Restrictions
Performers will be playing and the airwaves are being reserved for them.   Consequently CDs, DVDs, or the like should be demonstrated by the use of earphones to avoid competing, and flute demonstrations must "natural" (NOT by using electronic or other amplification).   Drum demonstrations should be short and not excessively loud.

Vendor Coordinator
The vendor coordinator is Marion Cole at (530)621-3227 or Marion
