WORKSHOP APPLICATION

for the

Arts in Nature Fest/Spring Flute Festival

Dates: April 26 & 27, 2008
Place: Nature Area, Georgetown, California

Workshop Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM


 

Fee
There is no fee for those giving workshops.
 

Parking
When necessary to load or unload items required for the workshop, temporary parking is allowed as near as possible to the designated workshop area.   Once loading or unloading is complete, the vehicle or vehicles should be parked in the area designated for vendors.
 

Sound Restrictions
Performers will be playing and the airwaves are being reserved for them.   Consequently CDs, DVDs, or the like should be demonstrated by the use of earphones to avoid competing, and flute demonstrations must "natural" (NOT by using electronic or other amplification).   Drum and similarly loud workshops should be remotely located from the main area of booths and the amphitheater.

For those who wish to give workshops, the answers to the following questions should be E-mailed to:

  1.   Your name/names
  2.   Your postal address, e-mail address, and phone number
  3.   Title of your workshop
  4.   Subject or subjects of your workshop
  5.   Date and time you prefer to start the workshop
Must be between 8:00 AM and   6:00 PM for adult attendance and between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM for young people - and not last past 6:00 PM.
  7.   Length of time the workshop is expected to last
  8.   Maximum number of people you wish to have in your workshop
  9.   The charge of admission (dollars) to the workshop
10.   What those attending are required to bring with them
11.   Any age requirement for those attending
12.   Whether you are you willing to give more than one workshop if the number of people attending becomes excessive?
13.   Other considerations with which you are concerned?
 

Preferences
If possible, you will be scheduled for the time or times that you prefer.   However, due to many other considerations, this may not be possible.
