The NFL Experience!

Fifth Annual Fantasy Football League

-Fee of $20.00-

Due September 5, 1999.

-Draft Day- (one week before the season opener)

September 5, 1999 (time TBA). The draft order is established from the previous season's records (worst picks first) in the "snake" format. In the event there is a new team joining the league, the owner will draw a card (between two and the number of existing teams) for the draft position on August 29, 1999. For all returning teams, one Franchise Player may be kept from the previous year's roster. Each Franchise Player is to be named at the start of the draft. Any new team owners will draft a Franchise Player (cannot pick from an existing team) after all the existing teams have named their Franchise Players. In the years to follow, no Franchise Player can be named in back-to-back years for the same team.

Each team will be drafting :

2 Quarterbacks,

3 Running Backs,

3 Wide Receivers,

2 Tight Ends,

2 Place Kickers, and

2 Defenses.

In the event there is an odd number of teams the league will use a blind team. This blind team will be used to even out the number of teams to ensure every team will have an opponent on Game Day.

-Trades-

There will be no trading.

-Free Agents-

You may only acquire one free agent per week; however, you may submit more than one claim during the week. You must release a player from your current roster before signing the free agent. Free agents will be awarded Wednesdays (claims will be accepted on any other day throughout the week). You cannot acquire a free agent before the first game nor after eleven games of the season except for an IR replacement.

If two or more teams are interested in the same free agent :

1) Team with lowest winning percentage will be awarded the free agent.

2) Loser of head to head competition will be awarded the free agent.

3) Team with the least amount of points scored will be awarded the free agent.

4) Coin flip.

-Team Roster-

Team rosters must consist of sixteen players (Defense is one player). You must keep the same draft day format and activate for Game Day :

1 Quarterback,

2 Running Backs,

2 Wide Receivers,

1 Tight End,

1 Place Kicker, and

1 Defense.

Game Day active rosters must be in no later than Friday at midnight. Players involved in Thursday games must be submitted no later than Wednesday at midnight, otherwise the status (active or bench) of any players involved in Thursday games will be the same as the previous week. If an active roster is not called in, the previous week's active roster will be used for Game Day. The Blind Team's score will be computed at the end of Game Day (80% of the average scores on Game Day). If a player is injured you may:

1) Release the player.

2) Place the player on Injured Reserve and sign a Free Agent.

A player is eligible for Injured Reserve only if the player is injured with questionable status or worse and must stay on Injured Reserve for at least four games. A Defense cannot be placed on Injured Reserve. If after the four weeks the player is still injured with questionable status or worse, you may leave the player on Injured Reserve, but the player must be removed if he is no longer injured with questionable status or worse. You must release a player from your team roster before removing a player from Injured Reserve.
