NOTHING NEW
There really is nothing new under the stars. What we tend to call a new discovery is usually our becoming aware of something that was always there but just temporarily hidden from our awareness. We see this in philosophical truths and messages passing down relatively unchanged through the ages through form after form. The unchanging nature of these truths can be comforting and reassuring to us.
Physical forms: Physical reality is the sole source of information used by us to understand who we are, what it's all about, communicate our experiences, and guide us through our individual dramas. Even the material you are reading now does not solely originate within the mind of the author. Written material is merely a symbolic reflection of experiences imbedded within the authors brain that were acquired through experiential encounters with physical forms and is more durable and lasting in written form than voice communication.
Written forms: The written form is a communication in symbols and possesses no ownership. Its source comes from the experiences of individuals who bump their heads against physical reality and want to share the lessons that physical reality, through that encounter, has taught them.
Silent reflections: The physical reality from which these lessons come has no body, no mouth, it cannot speak except through our experiences with forms, through our encounter with it. All written materials, including this writing, are nothing more than the silent reflections of physical reality that impinged upon the sensory apparatus of the human writer. Each experiential moment manifested before us is the activity of changing interacting forms which provide us the opportunity to develop insights within ourselves, to understand how it all is, and to communicate those teaching to others like ourselves.
