The formless mode: All the levels of awareness and perception up to this point were creations of the mind in response to experienced or sensed environmental inputs or stimuli. However, in the formless mode, forms suddenly disappear from our awareness and everything sensed just seams as sequential happenings that come out of a formless void and instantly disappears back into the void. There's nobody looking at anything. All experience seems to go back into the void from whence it came; returning back to the formless--to that which lies behind the vale of the present moment.
We are suddenly aware that all that we have experienced comes from the source and returns to the source. The source, the void, the one, is un-nameable, thus unspeakable. To our awareness it's an intuitive knowing, a feeling, the whole subject-object universe dissolves. All just is, but without form. All form is but a fleeting moment without permanence. In order to know form, we have to be separate from it. To enter into the formless that lies beyond the form, out of which the form comes, and back into which it returns, is to touch upon the one reality out of which all relative realities arise.
Total awareness mode: When we approach the mode of total awareness we experience the Universe as a happening, an unstoppable activity within the moment of perfect flow. All perceived separateness disappears into the interconnected oneness of the moment. All tension created by perceived separateness is momentarily dissipated. Actually, the total emergence with the one in the eternal moment is a reality all the time. We just have difficulty coming to that realization, that level of awareness, that level of knowing.
