Baby Elephant - 2002

My wife has some porcelain figurines that are kinda cute.  One day I looked at one and said "that would be fun to carve!".  So, I took a few pictures, made a pattern, and this was the result.

This carving won third place in the advanced leve at the Great Salt Lake Woodcarvers 2003 Show.

Size:  about 3.5 inches tall

Wood: Basswood

Finish: acrylic paint w/ acrylic sealer
