Spring Peeper - 2005

I wanted to experiment with inlaying material to make eyes, so I chose this simple Spring Peeper frog.  The eyes are made from ebony pegs which are custom shaped to fit the holes carved for them.  Then the pegs are cut off and the eyes are rounded.  The base is a piece of granite floor tile custom cut to size and hand polished on the edges.
