Gnome - 1999

This little forest gnome was a fun "short" project.  It is carved entirely by hand (most of my work is now power carved using a Foredom flexible shaft grinder).

This carving won a Second Place ribbon at the Novice level at the Great Salt Lake Woodcarvers' 2000  show.

Size: 5.5 inches high

Wood: Basswood

Finish: acrylic sealer over acrylic paint
