impressed?!?! i thought so. BUT HOLD ON JUST ONE MOMENT... are you using internet explorer 3? well, this very clever java script just won't work. why? you ask so innocently? well... it has to do with how, your friend and mine, microsoft was implementing their version of java script, VBscript, in IE3. at least they got it right in IE4. this script works just fine with netscape navigator 3 and communicator 4. but who cares, right?  
 
now... please forgive me if some images look a tad distorted. i had to pick one size for the award images to fit into, since this script will either compress or expand the image to fill the viewing box. i found this java script, "Image Preview" (author: Paul Colton) at the Java Script Source it's a neat java script (which, by the way, is more like a "macro" program versus being a real java language program). but who cares, right? it works and i like it! 
[and if you are keeping score, this script won't work for opera or mosaic.]
