tile matching at it's best! cool little game! i love the midi music that comes with the game!! who needs shanghai dynasty when you can get this for free!! ok folks, you want to spend lots of money, go right ahead. but if you want to play a beautiful game with soothing music, then put that credit card back in your wallet and download this gem. it's amazing what some programmers can do with such a little file!!! it's under 50KB zipped and has all of the basic features anyone could want in a mahjongg tile matching game! there is no installation program, but who cares!!! just double click the executable and you will be amazed at the quality of this game. that is until you can't find a matching tile, but that's your problem, not the game. anyway, the game can give you hints as to where that elusive tile is, if you so desire. the first place to look would be under your nose, and since it is not a snake, it won't bite you either. thoroughly enjoyable!

jeepers! now this game i like!!! the original breakout game gave me fits; i did not like it very much at all and avoided it like the plague! but this game... DX-Ball... now this game i like. [i think there's an echo in here]. it has very cool music and is easy to learn and fun to play. also, if you have trouble hitting that last brick, the game will destroy it for you, with a lightning bolt, if your frustration goes on for ten or fifteen seconds, which is very cool (since i am not all that good at aiming). and... hitting certain bricks will release different paddle power-ups and paddle power-downs. the author put a lot of thought into this game to make it fun for all ages, and it definitely shows. just watch out for those hidden bricks!
in fact, i like this game soooo much, i went out and bought the shareware version of DX-Ball, [i do have a job now, thank you very much] called DX Ball 2 by LongBow Digital Arts. it is based on the freeware version and they have done an outstanding job of enhancing the game's enjoyment and playability!! LongBow also incorporated 2 difficulty levels, a kid's version [no bad paddle power-ups, only good ones] (i tend to play the kid's version [hey! no snickering out there]), and the regular version [with both good and bad paddle power-ups]. it's just a delightful game! anyway, download the freeware version here, and i sincerely hope you will enjoy it as much as i do!!

it puts an icon in your system tray so you can access the DOS prompt (you guessed it) from the system tray. very convenient if you use the DOS prompt alot.

ok, at the risk of repeating myself [[which, of course, i never do]], it puts an icon in your system tray so you can access the windows explorer [(you guessed it yet again)] from the system tray. very convenient if you use the windows explorer alot {{it's so much easier to be able to use the same words over and over again}}.

this small desktop tray accessory {{read: system tray, ie: by your clock}} provides you with a small, easy to use Pop-Up! timer. it resides in your system tray [[okok, so i repeat myself]]. you can use it to monitor your online time, downloads, or any general purpose activity, limited only by your imagination. you can even use it like a stopwatch. it's pretty cool really.

this program allows you to use your print screen key as it was meant to be used: press the print screen key and it will either print your screen capture directly to your printer, or you can use this program to save it as an image file. it resides in your system tray. no installation needed, just double click the executable file, and capture your screens to your hearts content. easy to understand, easy to use, easy to configure. i like this program.
