Season Record: 6-2 Third place, although we beat the two teams ahead of us.

Game Summaries:

June 7, 2007
Numb plays Teichert for third place. Very strange game, one inning, good for us, bad for them, decides the game. Numb scores 9 runs in a wild second inning where Teichert commits most of thier 5 errors. They creep back, but two late runs give Numb some breathing room and we win 12-7.
Leading Numb were oldsters Rootbeer Haley, 2-3, double, 2 rbis, Numbmaster, 2-3, 2 rbis, Coach Eddie, 2-3, run, rbi, Hannaman, 1-2, 2 runs, JT, 1-2, run, rbi and youngsters Troytus, 2-3, run, 2 rbis and Dale, 2-3, run. One hit wonders were Stan the Man, double, run, and Newest Dave, run, rbi.
Dale made the last out of the game. No game next week, Summer season starts June 21. Stay tuned for details...

Numb plays Jo's Heroes. We must have lost, I was there, don't remember a thing. Two weeks in Hawaii will do that to you. And old age.

Light rain in Davis. The game before ours runs to its conclusion. The umpire and scorekeeper disappear. Game called. Think they could have told us sooner?? Old men go home.

Numb vs. the Big Bat Daddies. Not a very interesting game, even for the participants. Leading hitters, JT the gimp, 3-4, run, rbi and Stan the Man, 2-3, run, 2 rbis. One hit wonders were Rootbeer Haley, run, Numbmaster, 2 rbis, and Dale, run. Note the lack of names. The rest were 0-fers but some scored on walks. JT made the last out of the game.

Second game of the year! Numb faces Teichert. This game was very entertaining, as it showcased the best and worst of Numb. Best, getting out of a bases loaded, no out jam with no Teichert runs scored. Worst, some horrible base running, and a bases loaded triple by Teichert that resulted from poor positioning. Numb still had a chance, but could not come through in the end. Hey, its spring! Never saw so many dinks, dribblers and flares go for hits by Teichert either.
Leading Numb battas were Numbmaster, 2-3, double, run, Dave Hunn, 2-3, triple, run, rbi, Brad the Younger, 2-4, run, Stan the Man Robinson, who with no practice at all went 2-4, double, triple, 2 runs, 3 rbis, and Papa Williams, 2-4, run, 2 rbis. One hit wonders were Big Art, Troytus, Dale, double, run, Hugo (still no nickname), 2 runs, rbi, and JT once again. In a stroke of Numbness, Jeff, who brought the beer for JT, made the last out of the game. Seems JT will bring the beer next week...

Its the season opener! An Numb faces.... the Goats! You know, the team we played the last two games of the fall. This makes 3 in a row! Numb storms out to a lead and as usual the Goats make a game out of it. But Numb prevails 10-7.
Leading Numb were Brad the Younger, 3-3, 3 runs, Rootbeer Haley, 2-2, 2 runs, rbi, Papa Williams 3-3, triple, 2 runs, 4 rbis, Troytus, 2-2, rbi, Numbmaster, 2-3 2 rbis, Penalty Shirt Dave, 2-3, and new recruit Hugo Castillo, (no nickname yet) 2-3, run. One hit wonders were Dale, run, and JT, run, rbi. JT made the last out of the game and for some reason Jeff Williams brought the beer to the next game.
Oh, I almost forgot.... TO CONNIE!!!!
