THE WEDDING!!

Forget Darva Conger, forget Princess Di, welcome to the wedding of the Millenium, JT and Rene tie the knot! Now, on to the pics!!

JT Marries Renee: September 9th (the 150th Anniversary of California's Admission to the Union), McKinley Park, Sacramento, California.

Please note: This narration has embedded audio sound bites that require the AWWW audio plug-in. Various points in the narration will have code that should trigger the plug-in. Whenever you see the code indicating that the plug-in is required, you say the name of the plug-in out loud, and the plug-in audio bite will sound.

1. Our Hero, in his tuxedo (AWWW) waiting patiently as the momentous moment mounts methodically in the McKinley Park Rose Garden, is distracted by a pretty babe. Fortunately for all the guests, it is his niece, and the count down to the wedding continues..... The best man laughs at the prospect....

2. The bridal party assembles, with the Bride's father and sister arriving exactly at the start of the ceremony. An exercise in planning perhaps? (No pressure).

3. The Bride (AWWW), Groom, Bestman, and Maid of Honor, joking it up before things really heat up and the food starts to fly...

4. The orchestra warmed up for Bride, then played a wonderful violin solo, that floated gently through the gloriously green garden setting. Many a sigh (AWWW) could be heard from the crowd as the music played.

5. The Bridal party was comprised of family members, as the Groomsman were the Groom's brothers, and the Bridesmaid was the Bride's sister, and Junior Bridesmaids were her daughters (AWWW). The Ushers (and orchestra) were the Groom's nephews.

6. The ceremony was performed by Retired Judge McGahan, a former handball partner of the Groom, who came all the way from his foothill retreat to participate in the wedding.

7. The newly married couple exited the ceremony for their awaiting carriage (AWWW) for a ride around the park, and then a short jaunt to the reception at the Sacramento Turnverein Hall (and there was much merriment).

8. Although there were Secret Service agents in the crowd, most of those attending enjoyed the moment and the ensuing celebration at the reception hall (AWWW). No bombs were found.

I just can't help but think that the commentary would have been a little different if it wasn't HIS wedding!
