   Some are "weeds" and some are "wildflowers".
   Some are common and some are more unusual.
   Some are very beautiful -- and others are not.

I hope the photos will help you identify the plants you find, and make your travels more interesting and enjoyable.

Note: Many plants may be seen in more than one of the arbitrary habitat groups shown here. You might notice the same kind of plant growing in different places at different times of the year, blooming earlier in the valleys and later in the high mountains where the snow lingers longer.
