Kevin & Erica's Remodel adding approximately 250 SF expanding family room and kitchen with nook.   This was one of the model homes for Meadow Oaks. The home had nice curb appeal but the home definitely need some updating.  The backyard was pretty but the kitchen needed to be enlarged so the space that was the "old"  trellis covered patio is the location of the addition seen in the pictures below. Wall between dining room and family room has been removed creating an interconnected living, family, dining room and nook. Great for entertaining.
The hall linen closet and one of the master closets has been removed to make room for the oval soaking tub and separate shower.
Bath and shower surrounds and flooring done in Travertine creating a luxurious master bath!  A walk-in closet has been added.

This is the 1844 SF Shappell floor plan. It was one of the original model homes for the subdivision.....and now it looks like a model home again!

Didn't like the old 2-sided rock fireplace so we tore it out and replaced it with a pre-cast fireplace mantel on each side with two sided gas fireplace.

Couldn't stop there. Time for new granite counters and appliances.
 
This is such a great neighborhood but as the homes are getting older...it is time for some updating. Lots of fun and work.
