Report on the 2002 Reunion

We had a wonderful time - there were over 200 of our relatives attending and we were so grateful for all that were able to attend.

New officers for the 2004 reunion were elected and they are shown on the page for that reunion.

The JMT book was made available for sale and pickup by those who had pre- paid for them. We had 600 printed and only about 80 or 90 were left by the end of the reunion. We've had many good reports from family members about how much they liked the book, and we're grateful for that.

The auction was a smashing success, as always. We made enough so that we donated $1000 to the Mormon Battalion Building Fund to help with the construction of their new building.

Tickets were made available for "The Testaments" which was showing at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. All but a few were distributed.

Unfortunately, there were no pictures taken, so I have none to post.

Everyone that took part in the reunion is to be complimented and thanked for the wonderful job they did.

Just a personal note: as the VP in charge of Activities (Reunion) I want to express my most sincere thanks to all those hearty people on my committee:

  • Helen Thompson and her family for the food.
  • Steven Robison for sign in.
  • Jori and Roy Schulz for helping get the table set up.
  • LaVerna Terry for the table decorations.
  • Tauna Price for helping with the registration and getting the "Testament" tickets.
  • And especially to my wife, Stephani, for all her support in letting me "do my duty".
  • We are looking forward to 2004 and Huntington!!!
