Report on the Reunion / Pictures
We are ready to put out the NOTICE OF REUNION to all of the family prior to the end of March, hoping that everyone will calendar themselves for ENTERPRISE on the first Saturday in August to enjoy the Jacob Mica Truman Family Reunion.
Any suggestions, like new history, stories, maps, pictures, paintings, etc., we would like to gear it into the Program, along with a good Auction of hand-made items with the proceeds going to the FAMILY HISTORY Committee to continue their work.
We will have the JMT Branding Iron at the Reunion and will have some copies for the Auction. Also, Lorna and our Daughters are putting together another FAMILY PHOTO QUILT for the Auction.
Looking forward to seeing all of you family members again. Let's have a great TRUMAN reunion!!
7:00-9:00 A.M. - Ashley Hall will escort WILLING Reunion Participants on an early morning tour of the Enterprise Reservoirs, the old Townsite of Hebron, site of the TRUMAN FAMILY RANCH (will depart Park at 7:00 a.m.)
While the tour is gone, there will be games for the kids at the reunion site.9:30-10:30 A.M. - Paul Price/Others will conduct a Family History/Genealogy session for Reunion participants
10:30 - 12:00 - Program & General Family Session - Welcome by Ashley Hall, President and MCed by Dan Truman
Discussion Items:Program: Each family branch (children of Jacob Mica such as Martha, William Thomas, Mica Spencer, Rhoda Maria, etc.) will provide at least one number i.e. Music, Reading, Story, History, etc.Election of officers - As voted per 1998 JMT reunion, the 2008 reunion will be held in Salt Lake City. Officers will need to be able to accommodate that plan. The 2010 reunion to be held in Huntington, Utah.
Financial Report - Dues, (payable onsite or by mail to treasurer)
Other items that need to be brought before the group.
Missionary Report - those currently serving, those who have recently returned and those getting ready to leave.
In Memoriam - Remembering those that have passed away since 2004.
Family History Books - need to get descendant updates to Family Reps and histories and pictures that were not available in 2002.
12:00 - 1:30 P.M. - Lunch is Pot Luck so bring some of your favorite salads, etc. The Hall's will provide the MEAT & DUTCH OVEN POTATOES/ONIONS.

1:30 - 2:00 P.M. - Live Auction - Lonnie Truman & Son
(so bring anything you think is worth auctioning off, especially hand-made goods, family information, photo's, photo blankets, etc.) We will also have a bunch of $1 stuff for the KIDS.
An additional item: 9 replica's of the JMT BRANDING IRON made - the base price is $30 each. (If we get more than 9 additional interests for the Branding Iron, I will have as many made as we have hard orders for - Ashley Hall)
2:00 - 3:30 P.M. - Depart Park for trip to Mountain Meadows to visit the old Hamblin Townsite and Graveyard where Jacob Mica Truman and family members are buried - Hosted by Billy Jim Truman & Family
Those wishing to stay over night either Friday night or Saturday night can stay in St. George and drive up, or call the Sleepy Motel in Enterprise (435-878-8802) and they will reserve a rooms via credit cards. The rate is approx. $40 per night for two DOUBLE BEDS.
Remember, the next reunion is in 2008 (TWO YEARS) in SLC, with the following reunion in 2010 (FOUR YEARS) in Eastern Utah (Huntington, Green River, Castle Dale, etc), so those of you who live in the Southwest area, please come to the Enterprise Reunion this year!!
