I, Thomas Barker, of __________land village in the State of Indiana Greene County do make and publish my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills at any time by me heretofore made.
First, I desire my body to be decently intered and that my ___________ be paid conducted according to my estate and situation in life and as to such worldy estate as it has pleased God to bless me with. I _____ of the same in the following manner ---- I direct first that all my just debts and financial expensees be paid; secondly that my wife Martha have one hundred dollars and one third of my real and personal estate during her natural life. Thirdly I direct that Thomas Phillips, the Husband of my Daughter Maria [sp?] Philips be allowed and given on his note that I hold on ________ and Thomas Philips five dollars credit -------- and in full ---- part of my real and personal estate facilitate that the residence of my personal and real estate be equally divided between William Barker, Obediah T. Barker, Thomas Barker, and Rosannah [?] Burnet my lawful heirs share and share alike and I further declare the rest that the share of my real and personal --- bequeathed to my said wife be in lieu of her dower if she shall so elect and I hereby make and ordain my two sons Obediah T. Barker and Thomas Barker executors of this my last will and testament.
In Witness whereof I, Thomas Barker, sign the ----------- hereunto set my hand ----- this tenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six.
