Will of Zachariah Morris dated 28 June 1804

Amelia Co., Virginia Will Book 7, p. 87
In the name of God Amen. I Zachariah Morris of Amelia County son of Moses Morris being in a low state of health but in sound mind and memory as at other times do make this my last will and testament giving and bequeathing in the manner and form as followeth.
 
Item. I lend to my loving wife Susanah Morris my whole estate be it in what manner of property — during her widowhood for her reasonable support and to raise her children. But at her marriage or death for it to be equally divided between all my sons and daughters, To wit, William, Richard, Jane, Patsy, Polly, Zachariah, and Betsy, to them and their heirs forever and lastly constitute and appoint my wife Susanah Morris executrix and her brother James Owen executor to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I set my hand and fix my seal this twenty-eighth day of January one thousand eight hundred and four.
 
Witnesses: Joel Morris, Moses Morris, Thomas Morris.
 
Amelia County Court June 28th 1804, This the last will and testament of Zachariah Morris deceased was exhibited into court proved by the oaths of three of the witnesses thereto sworn to by James Owen and Susanah Morris the executor and Executrix therein named and order to be recorded. And on the motion of the said Owen and Susanah Morris who entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of 1500 dollars with William Burton, John Jeter and Moses Morris their securities certificate is granted them for obtaining probate in due form on the said estate.
