Sphericon Variations

How else could I make sphericons? I had made solid wood, solid acrylic plastic, and wireframe. All exhibited the basic wobbly roll that is typical of this shape. What other configurations could I dream up?

The first thing I came up with is quite simple, consisting of two identical pieces. It is made from 1/8" acrylic plastic. The only real problem I had making this is that the plastic ended up being less than its specified 1/8", so the slots that I cut with an 1/8" cutter were loose. So, I had to stick the pieces together with silicone caulking. Otherwise, it rolls well, and looks interesting. For some reason, though, most people don't like it nearly as well as the solid or wireframe versions.
