"Abby" Abby was my first real
Conformation Springer, I can't thank Harry Carpenter enough
for trusting us with her, and all his support and education
along the way. Abby finished her Championship at
age 5 while 3 weeks pregnant by beating 55 bitches for a 5
point major the day after SCVESSA. She was trained for her
CD but never got that third leg. She had qualified on the
exercises but I was showing a puppy when sits and downs were
going on, so Harry took her in for me, it just so happened
that at the the moment the handlers started back to the dogs
it was my turn to gait the puppy! She saw me and immediately
stood up(oops Zero) so in my mind Abby really does have a
CD, just no certificate to prove it. I wish AKC had Agility
around when Abby was young, this would have been her
thing.
