After The Eulogy
rise / written signed off in the obituary what happened to us / where's your anger where's your fucking rage / watered down senses lost lazy privileged denial and self gratified a tradition passed down to / our blood stained hands give in give up / contented to strive for new worthless slogans /we miss our potential for action and substance / contended to lie in our boring vomit suggesting arrangements while others are dying stand up fight back / how many starving millions have to die on our front doorsteps / how many dying millions have to crawl to our front doorsteps / where's your anger where's your fucking rage / watered down senses lost / where's your anger where's your fucking rage / content and corrupted contrive and disgusting / dig a whole it's all over forget the words and good intentions /unless we rise tear it down / rise

Rookie
i never thought this could be me / i guess you never do until it's happening to you / like all the fun turns into shame / and all the "could have beens" rearrange / so little time so many crimes guilt like a chain chokes my will away / redemption never seemed so cruel / and all my gods never seemed so weak / wake up engage now derailed and enraged it used to be so easy / get up i'm game now sick and i'm tame counting cost with lost / where is the hope they gave / don't think that i can't hear you laugh / i used to be a lot like you but now i'm only me / drink to pills to shots turns into shock a habit and a pawn / for every hand goes round the pain gets so damned loud / the hammer hits and i'm down / trust no one / hey why should i they gave me the poison dressed like life cheated smacked up and diseased cry to sleep and fight to eat / used to be a pro at this / now I've broken my own wrist / rotten teeth and life unsung you'll forget me when I'm gone

Pariah Under Glass
symbolized patronized and then tossed out dry revolution or humiliation / promise the bread the wine a life that shines / pick them up from the floor to get knocked down again / when you're bored with your mission and a new one begins / ride - your new thrill ride / smug - it suits you well /god - in your new science lab / master - of your new promised land / echo care and fake some tears to show your opponent / throwing bones with bread and circus to disguise the proof / you only empower yourself when those in need become your new / test subjects in your smear campaign 101 / recycle control from their hands to your own every word is / dropping empty promise again focus away from day to day for your own ends / their means are dying / shame - the act is old / count - your saintly sermon cells / angel - for your own rewards / bring - the mercy merchants down

When Rhetoric Dies
we raise the flags and statues to our mission we've spoken out / in slogans and in campaigns talked and talked on almost every issue / where oppression of the masses is the constant theme but what does this mean to a little town in iowa where the jobs have gone downstream down south and out / where their fingers used to work to the bone all day / profits rise and fall and starvation is a game / where is the food that used to cover their table / where is the sense of pride at the end of the day / to the face of a thriving corporation what could a dying family / possibly say / on the face of every american worker / is the constant fear that their job won't remain / as the c.e.o is planning his vacation to kill or be killed is the nature of the beast / stand in line take a number you sell your soul then watch it crumble / into a pile of rubble that used to be / your job / your life / your family's daily bread dry and stale malnourished kids / the house is sold for a degrading bid / do we continue to talk or do we take a hammer to their chains

Still Waiting For The Punchline
i want to find the water / that will wash this whole damned slate clean / break down / break up / we sleep in what we create / right now i'm living so much hate / right here my sin's have all been paid to you your friends / and for your sake / i feel dirty and so depraved / my knees have bled to hold you here but now i've lost the taste / for lies force fed as time well spent / and if another angel says just grin and bear it / i might be forced to smash his head against the wall and never sin again against myself or trust in anyone / write me off for suffering it's a joke / i give up

The Abominations Of Those Virtuous
we rely on subtle points and stabs at biting humor to reveal our tired roles of slave and domination who did you enlighten today humiliate to sell your point of view / create and image for mass / consumption insecurities as intellect / see your soul in your eyes hope your trophies will not mind / i'm sick of this grain of salt that i must take you with i wanna lash out but i bite my lip / the talk gets older and the lines get stale / your chance at / godliness has already failed / you can't deny your thirst and drive for your time in the spotlight / why are you so damned sure that you shut your friends out / i have learned to shut out every hateful word you'll never see the friends you've lost / from behind your transparent mask / i haven't grown to hate you i've just grown to forget you / you label me class rank and station your intellectual masturbation you're absolutely intoxicated with your own mouth running in circles / your tounge always tends to lose it / every chance you get you abuse it / you have now spent a lifetime killing time / i'm sick and tired of your reaction / why don't you shut the fuck up and when you discover just how easy it is to impress without demanding attention for no reason maybe you'll believe me / your own will to power has come back to haunt you

Our Time Honored Tradition Of Cannabalism
from black panthers and the c.i.a. / into a sharp wit with a stupid slag / we've gone and dug our own hole cause everybody knows / we eat our own so busy fighting each other while the real bastards fun for cover / we shoot our own leaders down before those in power get the chance / so they sit back and laugh while we destroy ourselves / wakeup and shut up we've become our worst enemy / turning inward to our own detriment / forgetting the message we were to end / we've lost count up victims roll call / they're all our own look back at what we've done / drove out the wrong side kicked sand in our own eyes / with every heroes welcome is another group on the side / ready to fire if they step out of line / just one mistake / and jealous hands claw away hope for a better way you bought it forget it goodbye / so saints be on your does and heroes be not proud / because as soon as the people rise someone will tear you down wake up and shut up we've become our worst enemy

(Compasion) As Skull Fragments On The Wall
front and center... / ten percent pulled apart vilified tolerate but only to patronize / hang a noose like a crucifix dangles high / leg breaking for your sheep becomes suicide / sticking to your guns provokes an ugly picture / of a child gagging on those same guns transforming more self loathing youth / from queers to corpses in two seconds flat / you've got correction tape for every transgress / immediate approval for distress / call out your icon from its whites washed tomb / your perversion your blame your truth trigger finger prints in a pool of blood / pray for us that our sins will come undone / now that you've decided in all of your tirade / that we are not worthy to live / you will burn in hell for everyone you've killed / for every drop of blood that you have ever spilled / diseased and deranged / became a draining mass of death at your request / in your prayers in your speeches you claim our death

My Life In The Knife Trade
how many times have you noticed that our eyes never meet / from your judgment seat i can feel the anger for my very being / fill me in on when you became such a big part of my life / that i should bother with all your lies designed to bring me down wrong again don't depend on any reaction again and i can see every lie that you ever told yourself you bleed me dry and i don't ask why but i'm left with the dust / judas kiss i dismiss thank you all for this i am untouched / wait again i'm not through with the screaming / i contend that you've got nothing better to do / trade my life for a barrel of gold find someone else before i get too old / if i live my life for aesthetic gain will you repay me with all your shame / i can see every light inside your brain go on every time i walk by for noise and whispers / your comfort in my suffering is no longer disturbing i'm lost beyond your petty stopwatch in life's real time / don't get up i was leaving the room and when the door of your judgment swings back around again maybe i'll stop to watch and i'll go on my way i've seen quite enough of too many childish games i'm ashamed of every moment that i ever gave them the time of day / all the worst of enemies are somehow always friends that used to be

Across Five Years
i said i'm crazy one more time / picked up the phone and wondered why / so many years of hidden / dreams pushed down too far to ever win / locked doors / and hidden ghosts denied by myself with every joke / this was not / this could never be me remembering so many times so many lies / so many lies / ran so fast the years passed blind / so much / time lost killing five / whatever poision you may / drink another list of "no's" persist / antique and out of reach / i lost my life and take it back / crashed this side of happiness / hit the floor or hit and miss without the strength to follow through / walked right past this life in you / just one more kiss just one more chance / one more life or circumstance one more call taking a chance on circumstance

Twelve Step Hammer Program
bring it on / i've got your life when I've got your fear i'll give you all what you want to hear / you've got me figured out so perfect / i'm on the couch lying to your face / just to see / what you can cut and paste of my life on your next banner / wait I'm not finished with you yet / race run frantic eating from my hand come on / scrape your knees to the finish line the weak get pulled and you're left behind / you think you know me feel the comfort / the rug gets swiped and you've fallen down / so many times that you have kissed the ground / just for a piece of fact or fiction / consider yourself the punchline in my new gag thank you very much you've given us all a fantastic laugh / bring it on / nose to nose and toe to toe tell me everything you know / or is everything for show tabloid garbage in your fangs / suck you'll be duped again i get the last laugh in the end

Unspoken Request
failed coercion leads to intrusion and the blood forever runs / in her head into her hands between her legs where his mind lies / power drives him into murder innocence / on the rack of his devices vices and designs / she will never scrub the stains from her arms from her neck / from her legs the dirt will remain as a reminder of his hateful face / reach in rip apart the inner fibers of her soul / boy you'll never know how it feels to fear the shame / feel free to walk down any dark street without fear / without shame no one is gonna touch you and you don't need protection she shouldn't need protection! / and you can sit there with that stupid smile on your face and try to convince me that you care defined by your power / defined by her body the innocence she feels everybody else contains it's lost it's gone but i guess it doesn't matter anyway / reach in rip apart the inner fibers of her soul / and you can sit there with that stupid smile on your face and try to convince me that you care defined by your power defined by her body defined redefined fucked tortured and discarded and if he ever cares maybe he will feel ashamed for everything he's stolen for all the trust she gave possessed and broken she cries but it's not our problem / pull down your goddamn blinds he will never think he's wrong she will think you're wrong she will never feel quite right

The Force Majeure
on shift from 9 to 5 then from 6 to 3 steals the soul machine forever tuning / class rebellion under noses the boss is feeding on the living corpses / their broken backs call for us to rise / but for now we'll all just smile and sympathize / denied movement now lost replaced by fear / we ask nothing less then settle for nothing more / behold the capitalists bathing in the blood of the working class / martyrs bleed until spoken to / vultures get fat from the harness coup / revolution another empty promise of the leftist elite / frustration another soul is crushed under the rulers feet / and as the boot is forced into their teeth / our safety is their defeat / your station has been assigned your rebellion will be confined tired doctrines killing just as many as he leaders they decry / their backs all well patted / for a job well done without the shackles / callused hands and drying hearts rise up and destroy the disease that stole your soul
