Welcome to my art gallery.  Below are scanned images of my original drawings.  I enjoy drawing with pencil, which is what most of my pictures are.  Then I've dabbled in colored pencils and graphics for T-shirts and photography.  Enjoy your stay.

First attempt at a pencil
portrait.  I sent this to
TIG Productions, and received in return a signed authograhed picture of Kevin Costner, thanking me for the drawing.

Huey Lewis...this is my
favorite drawing.  Alot of fun with shading.  What a great chin.

Kirsy Alley
I don't always draw men actors. But..
women are harder to draw.  Not as many wrinkles.  Since I enjoy shading I would only emphasize all the lines.  What woman would want that?????

Again a first,  this time using
colored pencils.  You'll notice that I have more pencil than colors.  I enjoy shading, and I'm never really satisfied with the shades I get with colored pencils.

Eagles Dinner
I drew this for my father for a Christmas Present.  He worked at Sears at the time and their theme was eagles.  This drawing was pen and ink.
Alot of detail went into this drawing, but it was fun.

A lady I worked with had seen some of my drawings and asked if I could do a picture of her dogs.  Yes, the dog in real life does have two different color eyes.  Since then I have done a few other animals.  I find fur hard to draw, it's a texture I haven't mastered yet.

A young Mel.  This was one of my quickie drawings.  I was on a job and they had absolutely nothing for me to do.  So, I began to doodle.  And this is what I came up with.  I find pictures, usually black and white if possible a freehand drawings.  NO TRACING!!!!!!!

Here's a couple of other guys who have great lines.  These were also quickies.  But they were fun.

A paying gig.  This was used for T-shirts, aprons, etc.  I had to look at alot of frogs to get my colors right.  And now I know the difference between a crocodile and an alligator.
