Frantic Father Flips over Daring Daughter’s Dilemma - What would you think of a gal, say your sister, or better yet, your girl friend if she made the San Juan Varsity Football Team next season?  Do you think Coach Dick Pierucci would jump with joy to have a girl gridiron great on his team?  Or would the shock of having a petticoat player punting, passing and playing on the team cause him to “throw in the sponge.”  It’s possible! 

But what about a girl who could score more touchdowns than any boy on the team?  If you were a member of the team would you be embarrassed by having a feminine footballer playing along side you? 

Do you think it’s an impossible situation?  Well it’s a situation, but not impossible.  Want proof?  OK, if you should have a free evening on Tuesday, February 10, 1959, or Wednesday, February 11, 1959, you’re invited to the San Juan Auditorium at 8:00 pm.  Be sure to keep this date in mind cause if you’re a fellow you’ll be amazed at Ginger’s athletic prowess, and if you’re frail you’ll envy Ginger’s unlady-like conduct.  Remember, seeing is believing if you see Ginger.

Just who is this amazing amazon who keeps her school, her friends, and her family in a constant state of turmoil?  Why not meet her at the San Juan Auditorium on February 10th and February 11th.  Honestly she’ll keep you howling with laughter from the moment you meet her.

Believe it or not Ginger is the heroine of the Junior Class Play “Time Out for Ginger.”  Pat Paul will play ginger.  You will see Rudy Binnewles as the frantic father; Karen Nelson as the mutinous mother; Barbara Lang as Joan, her 16 year old sister Jeanne; Joan Henry as the madcap maid;  Gary Jennings as Ginger’s boy friend;  Johnny Kowalyk as the football captain; Ken Jordon as Mr. Hoffman, the bank president; and Roger Call as Mr. Wilson, the high school principal.
