Iowa Skinners?

Start guessing, folks. Here's the mystery info. This photo was in Grandma Skinner's stuff.
(Cara Skinner, wife of W.W. Skinner, Jr.) There are no names or marks on the photo or
paper bi-fold holder it was in. The name, B. Wade Dennam, Muscatine, IA is embossed
below the picture, naming the photography studio.

Hint number two: William Wilson Skinner, Sr. was born in Davenport, IA, about 22 miles
east of Muscatine on the eastern border of Iowa. He had moved to Des Moines before
moving to California.

Hint number three: William Wilson Skinner, Sr.'s grandfather, William, died (1881) in a town no
longer in existence in Viele, IA, in Lee County. Lee County is about 50-60 miles south of
Muscatine.

Hint number four: William Wilson Skinner, Sr. was born in 1857. The boy in this picture looks
about 6 years old. If he is the boy, the picture was taken about 1863, which is possible.

My guess: The guy on the left definitely looks like a Skinner. It could be David Duncan Skinner,
born 1824 in Ohio. Mary (Judy)  is behind him (also born in Ohio). That would make him 39
years old in this picture, and Mary would be 35. The man on the right MIGHT be William
Skinner originally from PA. This would make him 68 years old in the picture. His first wife,
Margaret died in 1830, so this older woman wouldn't be her. It could be his second wife,
Eleanora (Ferree). It's possible that only William Wilson was in the picture, even though
they had other kids, because he was named after William's first wife, Margaret (Wilson).

Now it's your turn. What do YOU think?
