Basic Information:

You will first have to create your HTML files.  To do this you will need a program that can create web pages.  HomeSite 4.0 is a program that is provided by Allaire at http://www.allaire.com that can do this. Microsoft FrontPage is another example of web page creation software.  Keep in mind that your website is case sensitive. 
Note: SOFTCOM does not support or assist in web page creation. 

After you have created your HTML files you will then need to upload these files (and pictures if you have any) to our server so they can be seen on the web.  To do this you will need a FTP program.  You can download WS FTP at http://www.softcom.net/support.php

Make sure that your first HTML file (e.g. your main page file) is named index.html.  This will allow your homepage to come up without having to type in the file name. The address (URL) of your personal website will be:  http://www.softcom.net/users/username
