light Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade in advance of the long
Labor Day weekend,
The corn market wound down the month by opening lower and
rallying into early mid session as prices fell during late morning
and into earl.y afternoon.
The soybean market chopped in a narrow and mostly higher
range Friday before finishing near Thursday's closing levels.
The wheat market opened lower and rallied briefly early in
the session to slightly higher on the day.
Traders said that this early support came from higher corn
and soybean markets which were thought to be supported by a higher
crude oil market .
