Voter group to appeal Georgia ruling
ATLANTA, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- A voter advocacy group in Georgia
said it will appeal a judge's refusal to scrap the state's
electronic voting system.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Michael Johnson Monday
dismissed a lawsuit brought by VoterGa, reported The Atlanta
Journal-Constitution.
VoterGa contends the touch-screen machines used in Georgia
elections violate the Equal Protection clause of the Constitution
and are prone to fraud because because they don't provide paper
records of votes.
