Warcraft 2: Beyond The Dark Portal is the expansion pack to Warcraft 2:The Tides Of Darkness. It contains two new campaigns with 12 scenerios each. For those of you who thought Tides Of Darkness was too easy, this is definitely for you. Just play the first scenerio for either the orcs or humans and you'll know what I'm talking about. Most of the time you start out in horrible positions and are greatly outnumbered. Some of the missions have all of that but you dont get any peasents to even build with. A very intresting new feature are the heros. This time they are actually different than regular units. They all can take a greater amount of damage and have higher hit points. They work great when in desperate situations. Included with the two campaigns are about 50 diferent scenerios which can be played single player or multiplayer. There are a wide variety ranging from your basic build a base and attack to some very strange one like one that takes place on a chess board. These add many more hours of gameplay when (or iff) you get done with the Campaigns.

Overall, Beyond The Dark Portal is still pretty much Tides Of Darkness but with much more challenging missions and some very cool heros. And at $30.00 dollars it's a steal. 4 out of 5 demons.
