From her father’s history comes this note :
“The first summer after I arrived at Nauvoo, in the month of June, my second daughter was born which we named Julia Ardena. This was June 1842” (This seems to disagree with other accounts of her birth date as being 17 Jul 1842)

From Kerry Petersen, a descendant of her brother, Charles Henry Hales, Jr. comes this information:
After Jacob, Julia married John Williams Berry 28 Dec 1858 in Salt Lake City, who died in  Kanarraville, Iron, UT 12 Apr 1890. She then married James Robert Rickards 16 Jan 1894 (I'm not sure where) and he died 30 Mar 1931 in Cedar City. Julia died 25 Nov 1919 (I'm not sure where).

From the Hales Family Chronicles comes this information :
Born 17 JUL 1842 at Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois the daughter of Charles Henry HALES and Julia Ann LOCKWOOD. Married 28 DEC 1858 John Williams BERRY at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He was born 17 DEC 1822 at Lebanon, Wilson, Tennessee the son of Jesse Woods BERRY and Armelia "Milly" SHANKS. Julia Ardena HALES died 24 NOV 1919. John Williams BERRY died 12 APR 1890 at Kanarraville, Iron, Utah and was buried there.
